GadgetFan - There is good news for Dropboxers out there: the company is offering free storage space to anyone who tried the beta version of new experimental software. The trick is really quite simple: just download the test program, upload photos, you immediately get 500MB of free storage. Upload photos or videos, and an additional 500MB will magically appear at your door.
Dropbox, a web-based file hosting services, Cloud storage use to allow users to store and share files and folders with others on the Internet using file synchronization. The company was founded in 2007 by MIT graduate Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi as Combinator startup Y.
Dropbox want to test beta software uploader of new photos and videos, which automatically draw media from each camera, smartphone or SD card and place it in the Cloud. Free space is limited to 5GB per user, and users are expected to understand that it is usually quite risky to test an unfinished product. So, you should be more careful in trying this beta.
