GadgetFan - At a media conference in Seattle, yesterday (April 21 to 22), HTC reveal the fine details of how to make a HTC smartphone design, from a plastic box used to be an amazing product that is used by its customers.
HTC parties prohibit the disclosure of the photo shoot, but the media allowed to record from the beginning to the end of the process of making an HTC smartphone product design.
An assembly of products is estimated to take 4 months to 1 year before becoming a mockup. At the time, engineers thought the best way to put a cell phone, finding the best weight and best components for specific models, so you can feel the best product in your hands.
In the U.S., the HTC consult with the operator to find out what technology is preferred by consumers (such as chipset, screen and radio). In addition, they also learn what the size, appearance, feel and functionality requested by customers HTC.
HTC is also conducting a series of research and study of what their smartphone shortcomings by the participants or the research participants were asked to bring their smartphones for 2 weeks, then participants should tell their personal experiences during the two weeks that, if something is missing and less than a smartphone, and whether they have found another way to do what they do with their phones.
So, what is discussed on the HTC Media Summit yesterday? Let us consider one by one
1. QWERTY keypad

HTC plans there will be no QWERTY keypad in the production of their smartphone. Although, the market remains QWERTY lovers, the HTC think they want to be the bearer of the revolution around the screen (Whole Screen Device), so their focus will be more to the future of technology and will focus more on the QWERTY keypad technology.
2.Baterai
HTC also touched on how to maximize the ability of a battery. HTC is known as a manufacturer smarphone thin and elegant, so they do not want to risk by making the design more thicker for a more powerful battery. According to them, a battery can be maximized through the optimization of power management, the choice of the power density, voltage options and many more.
3. Color
HTC smartphone to color, they assume a basic color like black, white and gray to the highest selection of smartphone lovers. That is the reason why the HTC release more products with these colors. In the U.S. alone there are 3 colors that should not be used by HTC for fear of being considered pro to a particular operator, for example blue for AT & T, Verizon red, and yellow for Sprint.
HTC smartphone users thought more men than women, and men like black color, while women using smartphones tend to like the color white. Other than black, white and gray, HTC have released a purple product, which is a special project in which Verizon would like to see if they could make a phone that has a masculine aura, and finally the color purple was chosen by the study.
4.Personal Image
HTC shows that many people want their phones to be a symbol of their success, which means the phone itself needs to look professional and elegant, rather than shiny and bright which is not for everyone.
So these are some important points in the long process of design development of a HTC phone, where engineers and designers each product elicits an uncomfortable initially, before finally bringing the whole package is intact, elegant, and beautiful into your hands.
