GadgetFan - China Mobile is one of the largest telecom operator in the world today. They said it was negotiating with the company made by Steve Jobs, to bring iPhone to China.
Apple has long been rumored to be in talks with Chinese operators to extend the reach of the iPhone in the country. Chairman of China Mobile, Xi Guohua said that "China Mobile and Apple both have a desire to strengthen cooperation."
Apple CEO Tim Cook had already visited Beijing and met with the company's mobile operator partners Apple, China Unicom and China Telecom. Apple has started selling the iPhone 4S in China since January, and now the company's custom to distribute the iPhone 4S is China Telecom.
Cooperation by China Telecom with Apple is, automatically ending the exclusive status of China Unicom, which previously served as the sole Apple carrier partners.
Chairman of China Mobile, Xi Guohua also claimed to have actively talked to Apple-related cooperation will they wake up. Cook when questioned by some analysts to say "we thought we'd bet on the initial sale of the iPhone 4S there, but our confidence is not too big."
