Apple does not officially launch the new iPhone 5. But the party seemed to be confused because Apple iphone5.com domain has been owned by other parties. Apple filed suit known to the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization).
The work done by Apple to get the domain that eventually led to much speculation in several parties. Speculation is growing now is whether Apple will actually launch the iPhone 5 in the near future? or just avoid the confusion of consumers who think that their domain is a site affiliated with Apple.
News of the lawsuit is known by the name of the official website of WIPO case D2012-0951 and labeled as 'active'. Currently iphone5.com domain is a small forum with only a few articles. Apple is known to frequent lawsuits related to the WIPO Internet domain. Recorded in 2011 had twice sued Apple, one of them to ipods.com in July 2011.
