Google Wave officially closed today

GadgetFan  - Last November Google announced that a number of services provided by the search engine giant will be closed gradually. Today is Google's Wave service was officially closed.

Google Wave, one of the Google project which could attract much attention at the beginning of the first appearance, was first launched on May 27, 2009. Wave is a communication platform via the Internet that allows users to communicate in new ways as instant messaging and email.

According to news reported by The Verge, Google will turn off Google's servers Wave today because the public reaction to the Google Wave was not as expected. Google is also more interested parties to work on their social networking project and the new Google +.

Until now Google Wave service is still accessible, but only run in Read-Only condition. Google also said the party for those who are already incorporated in the Google Wave, given the opportunity to export the data contained in the Google Wave.

For those of you loyal fans of Google's Wave service, the service has been adopted by the Apache Software Foundation.
