HP will cut 27 000 jobs by the end of 2014

According to CNBC, Hewlett Packard (HP) will be 27 000 job cuts, or about 8 percent of employees at the end of fiscal year 2014. This is a small part of a restructuring plan the company will do.

HP CEO, Meg Whitman revealed that these cuts are downsizing plan that will be done HP for a better future. Whitman also confirmed that plans job cuts will begin now until the next two years the end of fiscal year 2014 to reduce short-term losses.

In addition to cuts and cost savings, HP plans to return to its investment in R & D. It is expected to encourage HP to continue to innovate and differentiate in the software industry. Whitman himself was aware that the job cuts are not the best solution.
