Facebook has a simple vision to make the world more open and connected, inviting people to start sharing and helping others. The company recently made by Mark Zuckerberg menluncurkan a feature that can help Facebook users to save the lives of others by becoming an organ donor.
Today, Facebook has launched a new feature that allows users in the United States and Britain to inform them that they are willing to be organ donors at Timelinenya. Currently in the United States alone, 79 people were in need of organ transplants as many as 18 had died due to too long to wait or find a donor organ.
Zuckerberg interviewed by ABC News said that "after seeing how Facebook users who use the platform to solve social problems after the recent tornado disaster in Missouri, earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the company is compelled to do something more direct."
The idea that emerged at the initiative of its COO Sheryl Sandberg and Dr Andrew M.Cameron transpalansi surgeon John Hopskin Hospital in Baltimore arrested Mark as an idea which is remarkable given the current Facebook users has reached 800 million users.
For those of you who intend to become an organ donor, Facebook has provided a place in Timelinenya. Select the "Life Event", from the status update box, then from the "drop down" menu will be coming out, select "Health & Wellness" and "Organ Donor."
Zuckerberg admits that what he was doing would not change the world overnight, but he believes that what he is doing will help to reassure those who have been hesitant to register to donate their organs, began to believe to do so.
