GadgetFan - RIM yet another remarkable breakthrough. After launching the BlackBerry device Dev Alpha for developers, RIM has stated that the Canadian company will launch a new Playbook with 4G capability.
Thorsten Heins, CEO of RIM, reveal that the tablet Playbook will be present before the end of this year. RIM's latest tablet will be equipped with 4G capabilities and will be coupled with support for LTE speeds.
Heins in a press event this morning revealed that there are still significant deficiencies in the LTE, and he said that RIM still seems hesitant to incorporate LTE 4G devices in the new Playbook.
Sales Playbook is steadily declining. Recorded at the end of 2011 PlayBook RIM is only able to sell as many as 850 000 units. This causes the RIM lose up to USD 485 million.
RIM made the breakthrough by adding the 4G and LTE on the line is expected to boost profits PlayBook and survive in the tablet PC market competition.
