GadgetFan - Today Research In Motion (RIM), unveiled a vision for the BlackBerry platform 10 on the BlackBerry World conference in Orlando, Florida.
RIM has made some announcements about the BlackBerry platform 10. They have released an early version of the developer toolkit for the original development and HTML5. This will certainly be a boost to developers designing applications for BlackBerry software 10 which will be available on mobile phones and the Playbook at the end of this year.
Any developer who attended the BlackBerry 10 hours this week will receive 10 Dev Alpha BlackBerry devices that will be used to test the applications they create. RIM said that "Developers will get a very useful tool to help developers build applications that are very attractive and will provide experience using the mobile to the user."
"BlackBerry 10 builds upon the core values and a great user experience that has attracted more than 77 million BlackBerry subscribers around the world today," said Alec Saunders, Vice President, Developer Relations and Ecosystem Development.
"Today we're pleased to launch the BlackBerry developer tools 10 beta for general use," said Christopher Smith, Vice President, Application Platform and Tools Handheld Research In Motion.
"Developers can use the first beta of the tool, to start building applications on BlackBerry 10 and as a means of development over the coming months, developers will have access to a set of APIs that will allow them to build a more integrated applications." Reveal Christopher Smith.
Toolkit created by the Cascades, will allow developers to create graphics that will give developers access to core device features and a variety of BlackBerry service applications, such as Push and payment services. Cascades is a native application development that enables developers to easily build applications visually stunning graphics without having to write code.
All that does is a form RIM's commitment to provide the developer community with the tools they need to build applications for BlackBerry devices 10, so they are ready when the first BlackBerry device 10 was officially launched in late 2012.
