Smartphone beat the PC in time to visit Facebook in the U.S.

GadgetFan - Apparently people in the U.S. prefer to open social networks via their smartphones compared via a PC. Data is obtained from a survey conducted by comScore in March, yesterday. On the results of the survey, the average registered in the U.S. spend up to 441 minutes or almost 7 hours to open up the smartphone, and they just spent 6 hours via a PC.

On December 2011, Facebook users in the Smartphone has reached 425 million. This figure is almost half of the total number of Facebook users. Facebook officials have begun to realize the importance of mobile version of Facebook for the company's progress. Facebook also makes the strategy launched an initiative to get all the applications on mobile devices, including smartphones, feature phones ever, and the Apple iPad.


 

Other social networks also have a good performance for its mobile version. Twitter records of people willing to spend up to 114.4 minutes per day on the phone and just 20 minutes on a PC, smartphone users are accessing Pinterest record time of 1 hour
and Foursquare record time 2.5 hours.

Using social networking on mobile phones is a new pattern of consumer behavior that get more attention from social networks to maximize their websites in mobile version.
