GadgetFan - AC Nielsen, a leading research institution has recently released the results of their research is quite interesting. Their results are that smartphone users in the U.S. reached 50.4% of the total existing mobile phone users. This is the first time, the number of smartphone users more than the ordinary mobile phone users.
So what smartphone with OS of the most widely used? The results showed Android users reached 48.5% of the total users of smartphone users. While IOS percentage ranks second with 32% of the total number of smartphone users. The third place is still dominated by RIM with 11.6%, followed by Windows Mobile with a percentage of 4.1%.
If you look at the data above, although Android dominate the market, but the producers are so many OS platforms while the IOS is Apple. Thus, it can be concluded Apple is still the best selling smartphone maker in the land of Uncle Sam.
There is additional data that is quite interesting where the highest average age of smartphone users is 25-34 year age range in which 2 of 3 people in that age range using a smartphone. The conclusion of this research is the development of smartphones continue to rise, even was able to beat the number of mobile phone users. This data will make more smartphone manufacturers are eager to do to get through the latest innovations in the U.S. smartphone market.
