Yesterday (10/05), Microsoft introduced an update to Bing by adding a new column to search results, where a new column has a feature on your Facebook friends who may have insight and can help you in your quest to do in Bing.
For example, suppose you type on the island of Bali Bing search field, then it will appear in the column other than white in the sidebar (right side) on the search page Bing. In the column, you can see da
ftar friends who might know where a date is fun in Bali, or diving spot that challenge your adrenaline, etc.. Your buddy list appears as they have previous experience to Bali and put it on their Facebook accounts.
Adam Sohn, GM of Bing said, "You will be able to invite your friends to talk further because your search results."
One problem with traditional search is that users often have difficulties against which the figure of the most trusted sources. Having a friend to guide the user would remove this uncertainty.
Currently, new features can only be used if you request access. Microsoft has these features will be widely distributed in the coming weeks. Do you think this is a smart solution from Microsoft?
